A large following can actually work against you. When your reach goes wide, the algorithm stops showing you to the people in your suburb. And to the local mum searching for someone nearby, a big following can quietly signal too expensive, too far away, too out of reach.
Your clients are local. They book on warmth, familiarity, and proximity.
They don't need to see you go viral.. they need to see you show up in their world, consistently enough that when the time comes, your name is already in their head. That's a very different goal to what most Instagram advice is pointing you toward.

Check the location tag on your last five posts.
If they're untagged, tagged with a broad city, or tagged at a location that has nothing to do with where your clients actually live.. fix that first before anything else.
Your next post should be tagged at a local park, a suburb, a beach your clients actually go to.
It takes ten seconds and it immediately starts telling the algorithm who to show your work to.
Local visibility starts with local signals.
